Job summary

CareOne at Parsippany is hiring a Cook to balance life and work while delivering quality meals in a healthcare setting. The role offers full-time, part-time and per diem opportunities across multiple shifts with a pay range of $17 to $25 per hour.

The Cook will prepare foods in compliance with regulations and CareOne policies, support the Head Cook and Food Services Director, and help provide healthy, enjoyable dining experiences for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or related medical facility preferred.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and CareOne policies.
• Assist Head Cook and Director of Food Services to ensure quality food service at all times.

Salary Range: $17 - $25 per Hour

The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.

Position Requirements
