Responsibilities

• Distribute menus and collect bedside menus for eligible patients.
• Prepare all late trays and adjust diet orders per guidelines.
• Serve as liaison between patients and Food and Nutrition department; resolve issues with minimal conflict.
• Communicate with tray line supervisor regarding clinical diet accuracy and infection control.
• Use computer to print production tallies, department reports, and tray line tallies.
• Maintain infection control and appropriate diet restrictions while adjusting patient menus.
