Job summary

Sullivan County Health Care is seeking a Dietary Associate to provide palatable, nourishing meals to residents, staff and guests. The role covers dishwashing, food preparation, meal service and kitchen sanitation in a county facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, monitor dish machine temps and sanitation levels.
• Prepare and portion meals per menus and tickets; ensure appealing presentation.
• Deliver and restock foods, operate carts and tables for service.
• Serve meals, take payments for staff dining, and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Restock supplies and maintain kitchenettes, storage and refrigeration areas.
