Job summary

Continuum Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide for our long-term care facility. Flexible and evening hours are available, with a $500 sign-on bonus and a supportive, team-oriented work environment.

You will run dishes through the dish machine, assist in dining service, maintain cleanliness, and help with daily cleaning tasks while following sanitary practices. Prior experience in resident services and strong communication are preferred; both part-time and full-time openings are

Qualifications

Experience providing quality resident services including needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of resident’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures and provides excellent resident service within established guidelines.
Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management.
Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups and glasses during service periods.
Serves meals to residents in dining areas in accordance with established portion control procedures that are appetizing in appearance.
May be required to complete daily cleaning assignments that include but are not limited to cleaning up spilled food, drinks and broken dishes, unloading dishwasher and removing empty bottles and disposing of trash.
Participates in the departmental cleaning and recycling program.
Disposes of food and waste in accordance with facility / state guidelines.
