Job summary

Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, LA is seeking a Food Service Associate to support the daily meal service for patients. You will prepare beverages, deliver meals, and help maintain a clean and efficient tray-line operation.

This role requires High School or better, and prior food service experience is preferred. Training is provided to follow established procedures of the Food and Nutritional Services department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better preferred or required.
• Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion tea and beverages for patient tray line.
• Transport patient meals to hospital patients and outside facilities.
• Assist in stocking inventory.
• Assist in light cooking, salads, desserts, sandwiches and other food preparation.
• Serve on tray line in assigned position and support tray line flow.

Performs routine duties related to preparation and serving of food. Perform duties in accordance with established procedures and policies of the Food and Nutritional Services department.
