HMR Veterans Services in Fort Worth, TX seeks a dedicated Dietary Staff member to support meal preparation and service, aligned with dietary policies and portion guidelines for residents. You will collaborate with the facility dietitian, maintain clean dining areas, and assist with special meals while ensuring timely service and high nutritional standards for veterans and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Follow oral and written instructions and maintain cleanliness and safety in food service areas.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, and a positive attitude when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all dietary functions as directed and per dietary policies.
• Collaborate with the facility dietitian and implement recommendations.
• Maintain communication with interdepartmental staff to ensure quality food service.
• Prepare and serve meals on time, following portion control and dietary guidelines; assist with special meals.
• Set up and clean dining areas, trays, and carts; wash and store utensils and equipment.
• Maintain sanitary storage, prep, and service areas and follow health and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory, assist with deliveries, substitutions, and report issues to the Dietary Manager.
