Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Dietary Assistant/Server to provide dining room meal service for senior residents at our Bloomington facility. This role supports kitchenettes and helps maintain a welcoming dining area.

The position offers an evening shift with 40 hours per two weeks and every-other weekend. No previous experience is required, but customer service experience is valued and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting.
• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve prepared meals to residents and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Promote and encourage positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service.
• Sanitize equipment, work areas and maintain supplies.
• Assist with meal prep and special events.
• Provide kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors.
• Answer phones and communicate requests appropriately.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN. Great experience and foot in to door role for someone looking to get into a medical career or a student!

This nutrition services schedule includes

• 40 hours per two weeks
• Evening shift
• Every other weekend
