Job summary

VOANS's Anoka Rehabilitation & Living Center is seeking a Dietary Assistant to support meal service and food preparation for residents.

You will engage residents daily, assist with dining room setup, and perform cleaning tasks. This full-time AM shift offers stable hours and a starting wage of $19.10/hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision and PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand procedures used for work assignments, instructions, recipe directions and diet order cards.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
• Preferred: experience working with food.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a difference by providing companionship and much needed human interaction for our residents who have been separated from their loved ones due to the pandemic's restrictions on visitors.

Pay:

Starting at $19.10 per hour based on previous experience.

Available Shift:

Full-Time AM shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm - 72 hrs PPP

Select Weekdays and every other Saturday and Sunday. May have opportunities to pick up additional shifts if desired.
