Job summary

Hickory Senior Living Management, LLC is seeking a friendly dining associate for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) from 6:00am-2:30pm or 10:00am-6:30pm, with additional days as needed, including holidays.

This hourly role pays $10-$12.75 per hour, with no tips or gratuities accepted. You will wash dishes, serve residents, read recipes, take orders, explain menus, help keep dining areas clean and welcoming, and assist during meals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dining or food service setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Strong communication with residents and kitchen staff.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes and other dietary department duties as needed or assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
• Bringing food and beverages to dine-in customers.
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Taking orders from residents and delivering their food.
• Explaining the menu to customers.
• Communicating with kitchen staff.
• Balancing dishes as they bring them to the appropriate table.
• Delivering to-go meals to residents
• Preparing tables and dining area for meals
• Cleaning tables and dining areas after meals, including but not limited to laundering linen, sweeping, mopping, dusting
• Preparing and maintaining hospitality station
