Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follow safe food practices as mandated by state and federal agencies.
• Follow standardized recipes and portions as prepared by the Dietary Manager and Registered Dietician.
• Keep all work areas clean and sanitary.
• Check storage areas for needed products; thaw per Minnesota Food Code.
• Ensure freezers and coolers are at proper temperatures.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and sanitized after use.
• Adhere to the assigned cleaning schedule.
• Store unused portions with dating, labeling and discarding as needed.
• Adhere to LBSA policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
