Job summary

SAK Management is seeking a Part Time Dietary Aide to support dietary services in our Chicago facility. You will assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, serving meals, inventory, and sanitation under the supervision of the Dietary Supervisor and Dietitian.

This role requires adherence to policies and regulatory standards, with duties aligned to patient and resident needs. Interviews will be conducted Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Qualifications

• Provides assistance in all dietary functions following policies and procedures.
• Serves meals palatable and appetizing at designated times.
• Assists with diet trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.
• Follows sanitary regulations and established policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up meals and dining areas for service.
• Assist in checking diet trays before distribution.
• Assist in serving meals and preparing snacks.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Maintain sanitary work areas and equipment.
• Work with dietitian/Dietary Supervisor on changes as needed.
• Ensure availability of food and supplies for meals.
