Job summary

WeCare Centers is seeking motivated Dietary Aides to support residents in Franklin, PA. You will assist in meal prep, serving, and ensuring meals meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting cooks, and upholding dietary restrictions while delivering meals on time. This role requires reliable, compassionate team players with at least one year in food service.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet all health compliance and competency requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Minimum 1 year food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas.
• Maintain equipment, utensils, and food plates clean and orderly.
• Prepares meals, snacks, and nourishments in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as the facility standards and procedures.
• Serves meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, garnished and at proper temperature on a timely basis.
• Serves food from steam table and/or transport food delivery carts to the resident areas.
• Honors residents food likes, dislikes per tray ticket within prescribed diet.
• Ensures food supplies for the next day production is available.
• Assists cooks in preparing meals as directed.
• Uses proper hand washing techniques and safety procedures.
