Job summary

WeCare Centers is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our residents in Franklin, PA. The role involves assisting in meal preparation, serving meals, and maintaining clean kitchen areas to meet sanitary standards and facility protocols.

You'll help ensure meals are served at proper temperatures, honor residents' dietary preferences, and support cooks as needed. This is a hands-on role in a care-focused environment with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year food service experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to meet all health compliance and competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas.
• Maintain equipment, utensils, and food plates clean and orderly.
• Prepares meals, snacks, and nourishments in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as the facility standards and procedures.
• Serves meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, garnished and at proper temperature on a timely basis.
• Serves food from steam table and or transport food delivery carts to the resident areas.
• Honors residents food likes, dislikes per tray ticket within prescribed diet.
• Ensures food supplies for the next day production is available.
• Assists cooks in preparing meals as directed.
• Uses proper hand washing techniques and safety procedures.

WeCare Centers at Sugar Creek Care Center is actively seeking motivated Dietary Aides for our community in Franklin, PA. Our Dietary Aides assist in the kitchen area prior to, during, and after meals are served to residents.
