Columbia Place Assisted Living & Memory Care in Portland, OR is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. You will help serve meals, maintain a clean dining area, and ensure residents receive timely, friendly service in a compassionate environment.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn. A high school diploma and an Oregon Food Handler Card are required or obtainable. Training is available for the right candidate.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Oregon Food Handler Card or ability to obtain.
• Previous food service or senior living experience is a plus, but not required.

• Assist with preparing, setting up, and serving meals to residents.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and help create a positive dining experience.
• Prepare meal trays, snacks, beverages, and nourishments according to resident needs.
• Assist with delivering meals and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Clear tables, collect meal trays, wash dishes, and operate dishwashing equipment.

Columbia Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and friendly Dietary Aide to join our dining services team!

As a Dietary Aide, you will help ensure our residents enjoy a clean, welcoming dining environment and receive their meals in a timely and friendly manner. What You'll Do

• Assist with preparing, setting up, and serving meals to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and help create a positive dining experience for residents.
• Prepare meal trays, snacks, beverages, and nourishments according to resident needs.
• Assist with delivering meals and ensuring residents receive their meals accurately and on time.
• Clear tables, collect meal trays, wash dishes, and operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Monitor and document dishwasher temperatures and sanitizer concentrations as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, refrigerators, and work areas.
• Sweep and mop floors, remove trash, and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
• Receive and properly store groceries and food supplies.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Work closely with cooks, dietary leadership, and other departments to provide excellent resident care.
• Participate in ongoing training and assist with other dietary duties as needed.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. Employees must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
