Job summary

Columbia Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join the dining services team in Portland, OR. You will help prepare, set up, and serve meals, ensuring residents receive timely, friendly, and high-quality service.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a genuine desire to support seniors. A Food Handler Card is required or obtainable, and previous food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Oregon Food Handler Card or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Experience in food service, restaurant, or senior living is a plus, but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing, setting up, and serving meals to residents.
• Provide friendly, attentive dining service to create a positive experience.
• Help with trays, beverages, and nourishments according to resident needs.
• Maintain clean, sanitary dining and kitchen areas; follow food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with cooks and dietary leadership to support resident care.
• Participate in ongoing training and assist with other dietary duties as needed.
