The Cypress Of Charlotte is recruiting a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. This is a part-time position with opportunities for additional hours. Shift details are as follows:

• 6:00am - 2:30pm (must be available on weekends)
• 4:00pm - 8:00pm (must be available on weekends, at least every other weekend)

This role involves full-scope, hands-on serving functions within the community.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Preparing therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
• Serving meals in the health center.
• Setting up and breaking down tables in the dining room.
• Transporting hot and cold foods and non-food items to and from the health center.

Qualifications required:

• Minimum six months' experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and interpret diet standards.
• Ability to work cooperatively with residents, families, and staff, demonstrating empathy for the elderly.
• Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.86 per hour, depending on experience.
