Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state-of-the-art 65-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. The hospital invests in its patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that includes therapies such as yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy, and nutrition. We are seeking qualified applicants for a Dietary Aide position.

Position Description

A Dietary Aide is responsible for salad and cold food preparation for all hospital meals, serving patients and staff. Other responsibilities include maintaining clean and sanitary work areas in the kitchen, service area, and dining room. Specific duties include:

• Serving food on patient tray lines and in the cafeteria to meet dietary needs.
• Maintaining sanitation standards and following Department of Public Health regulations to ensure food quality.
• Preparing diets and food requisitions, and obtaining accurate meal counts for patients, staff, and guests.
• Following dietary and hospital safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Courteously treating patients and staff to better serve their dietary needs.
• Meeting hospital attendance policies.
