Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is hiring for a Food Service Worker to prepare meals that meet nutritional needs of residents in a healthcare setting. You will work with the Food Service Team to follow menus, ensure timely delivery of meals, and maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.

The role requires at least 1 year in food services, ability to cook in large quantities, and English literacy. Work shifts include early morning hours; on-site position with potential for overtime or emergency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in food services.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of food procedures.
• Must be able to cook food in large quantities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure diet is in accordance with residents' nutritional needs.
• Review menus prior to food preparation.
• Handle food in a sanitary manner.
• Prepare and serve dietary trays according to dietary orders.
• Deliver food, nourishments and supplies to the nursing station/hall on time.
• Coordinating food service with other departments.
• Maintaining food service equipment.
• Adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal preparation and clean up.
• Keeping worktables clean, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
