Job summary

Parkview Healthcare & Rehab Center is seeking a Dietary Aide at our Osborne, Kansas facility. You will assist the cook, prepare nourishments, and portion desserts, salads, and beverages while following established production sheets and guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and accuracy in meal preparation for patients and staff, with opportunities to support special events and maintain patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director.
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures.
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages.
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate.
