Job summary

Eskridge Care Center in Eskridge, KS is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, follow dietary orders, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in the dining areas.

Ideal candidates demonstrate reliability, basic math, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset. Experience in a geriatric setting is a plus, but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents according to dietary orders and approved menus.
• Ensure the quality and temperature of food items.
• Deliver and retrieve trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions in dining areas.
• Provide courteous customer service and interact with residents, families and team members.
