Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, service, and cleanup for patients, staff, and events at the nursing center. You will assist cooks, label nourishments, and prepare non-entrée foods in compliance with center procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, basic sanitation and safety, and reading English. Prior experience in food service and long-term care is preferred, with opportunities for ongoing training and benefits listed in the job plan.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director.
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures.
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages.
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate.
