Copper Ridge Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations in our facility. Starting wage at $18 per hour, reports to Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

The role involves learning routines, setting up meal trays, dishwashing, serving meals, recording temperatures, ensuring sanitary conditions, and collaborating with staff. A high school diploma and food handler's certificate are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to work in cooperation with personnel in all departments.
• Willingness to learn food service routines.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Learn food service routines and maintain cleanliness.
• Operate dishwasher and wash dishes.
• Check chlorine and water temperatures for dishwashing.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and groceries, maintain sanitary kitchen.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with all departments.
• Leave kitchen clean and sanitary after shift.
