Job summary

Cooney-Healthcare-and-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in food service operations on site in Helena, MT. You will learn and perform routine dietary tasks, set up meal trays, and support dishwashing and kitchen sanitation under supervision.

The role requires ability to read procedures, follow recipes, and cooperate with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service and clean, safe facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow technical procedures.
• Strong communication with managers and staff.
• Ability to work in a team and cooperate with other departments.
• Basic mathematics: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature in dishwashing operations.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness; sweep, mop, and wash surfaces.
• Assist with stocking, storing, and organizing food and supplies.
• Support the cook and dietary supervisor as needed.
