Job summary

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service at St Anthony Healthcare Center. You will assist with meal preparation, delivery, and sanitation to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and respectful environment.

The role includes operating dish equipment, assembling diet trays, and maintaining workflow across the dining areas. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for 1 year of institutional food service experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow diet cards, portion guidelines, and sanitation procedures.
• Computer skills are required.
• Meets all state and federal criminal background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assists with food preparation as directed by supervisor.
• Prepares items following standardized recipes and safe handling practices.
• Operates institutional food prep equipment per directions.
• Assists with tray line setup and assembles resident trays per diet cards.
• Delivers trays to dining areas and units and ensures correct diet compliance.
• Reports any equipment issues and maintains sanitation of workspaces.
