Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, portion meals to meet dietary needs, and ensure clean and safe dining areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, positive interactions with residents and staff, and strict adherence to food safety guidelines. A high school diploma is preferred, and ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
