Job summary

Candidate Experience site is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparation and serving of food and in cleaning the dietary area under supervision.

The role trains new employees and requires adherence to infection control guidelines, with supervision for supplies and equipment.

You will assist on tray lines, serve residents, and help with dishware and cleaning tasks as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with basic nutrition knowledge and dietary operations.
• Able to follow oral/written directions with minimal supervision.
• Must read/write English fluently; basic math skills.
• Physically capable with on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving food and cleanup of dietary department.
• Set up and serve on tray line and in unit dining rooms.
• Portion food for service and serve residents with nursing staff.
• Wrap, label, and store leftovers; report shortages to supervisor.
• Clean kitchen and equipment; operate dish machine.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
