Job summary

Regency at Whitmore Lake in Whitmore Lake, MI is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with meal prep, tray assembly, delivery, and sanitation, ensuring nutritious, properly prepared meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Handle and store all food per procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
• Assist with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepare food items according to recipes and safe handling practices.
• Operate institutional food prep equipment as directed.
• Assist with setup of the food tray line and assembly of diet trays per individual cards.
• Verify residents receive correct diet and tray; deliver trays to dining areas and units.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and equipment per procedures.
• Report equipment problems promptly to supervisor.
