Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures, safe food handling guidelines.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares food items according to recipes, ensuring safe handling.
• Operates institutional food prep equipment per directions.
• Assembles diet trays according to procedures and diet cards.
• Delivers tray carts to dining areas and units.
• Reports equipment problems to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains clean and safe workspaces and equipment.
