Job summary
Regency Heights-Detroit seeks a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in a skilled nursing facility, including meal prep, delivery, and sanitation. This role helps ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Prefer one year experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting.
Responsibilities
- Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures, safe food handling guidelines, state and federal requirements.
- Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
- Prepares food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe food handling practices.
- Operates institutional food preparation equipment according to manufacturer and supervisory direction.
- Assembles diet trays for residents according to facility procedures, matching foods, drinks and condiments to diet cards.
