Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in a long‑term care facility by preparing and serving meals to residents, ensuring dietary needs are met and safety standards are followed.

You will participate in kitchen duties, maintain cleanliness, and provide friendly service to residents and staff. A high school diploma is preferred; ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law; residency within the service area may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
