Job summary

Fiesta Park Wellness and Rehabilitation seeks a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and cleanup for patients and staff. Under the food service director’s supervision, you will prepare nourishments, portion desserts and salads, pour beverages, and follow production sheets and guidelines.

Qualifications include good verbal and written communication, the ability to read English, basic sanitation and safety knowledge, with prior experience in food service or long-term care

Qualifications

• The dietary aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook as directed by the food service director
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to center procedures
• Prepares and portions desserts, salads and other non-entrée foods into dishes; pours beverages
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate
