Job summary

Colonial Vista Senior Living in Wenatchee, WA seeks a Dietary Aide to support meal service and kitchen operations. You will set up meal trays, assist with serving, and help maintain sanitation under the supervision of the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

Applicants must learn standard routines quickly, follow recipes, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. A food handlers’ certificate is required. Lift up to 50 pounds and work in a low-to-moderate noise setting.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and technical procedures.
• Ability to respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher.
• Operate dishwasher and keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop floors.
• Carry groceries safely and maintain organized storage.
