Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus is seeking a motivated Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join the team in Columbus, NE. This full-time position supports dining services and kitchen sanitation, assisting with meal service and resident care.

The role emphasizes teamwork with dietary staff, nurses, and caregivers to ensure smooth meal delivery, adherence to safety procedures, and high standards of cleanliness for residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
• On-the-job training will be provided
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsabilités

• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by following food safety protocols
• Perform regular cleaning of work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner
• Assist with inventory control by checking and storing food supplies
• Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner
• Work closely with other dietary staff, nurses, and caregivers to ensure seamless meal service and address any resident needs
• Follow all facility policies, health regulations, and safety procedures
