Job summary

The Marion Valley SNF Healthcare, LLC dietary team is seeking a Dietary Aide to perform meal service, tray setup, dishwashing, and related kitchen tasks to support the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

The role requires ability to learn routines quickly, read procedures and recipes, obtain a food handlers certificate, and work cooperatively with all departments; physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to work cooperatively with personnel in all departments.
• Physical ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and floors.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
