Job summary

(Homestead Post Acute) Homesteadidence Opco, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in our facility. The role involves learning routines quickly, setting up meal trays, cleaning dishes, serving meals, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment under supervision of the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, reading and following recipes and procedures, good teamwork, and the ability to obtain a food

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
