Job summary

Greenview Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service in the facility’s kitchen. You will learn routines quickly and work with the Cook and Dietary supervisor to prepare meals, set up trays, wash dishes, and assist with serving.

The role requires following recipes and maintaining sanitary, organized work areas. Responsibilities include checking dishwashing temperatures, stocking groceries, and participating in staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and work with the cook and dietary supervisor.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays, wash dishes, and operate the dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks, and maintain clean kitchen surfaces and floors.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of groceries and maintain sanitary work areas.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff and collaborate with other departments.
