Job summary

Village Green Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our care team. You will prepare meals for lunch and dinner, review menus, and ensure residents receive the correct diets.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or healthcare food service preferred.
• Serv Safe certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for lunch and dinner following standardized recipes and diet orders.
• Review menus and inspect special diet trays to ensure correct nutrition for each resident.
• Assist in production of the food service line and process diet changes and new diets.
• Maintain safe food handling practices and keep kitchen and dining area clean.

This position is responsible for preparing meals for lunch, and dinner. Review menus prior to preparation of food, inspect special diet trays to assure correct diet is served to resident, working with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident. Prepare food for all diets accordance with standardized recipes and special diet order, assist in production of food service line, process diet changes and new diets, prepare and serve meals, prepare food for all diets
