Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. The role focuses on preparing meals for lunch and dinner, reviewing menus, and ensuring correct diets for residents.

You will work with health care staff to support resident nutrition, follow standardized recipes, assist in food service line production, and maintain safe food handling in a clean kitchen and dining area.

This position is responsible for preparing meals for lunch, and dinner. Review menus prior to preparation of food, inspect special diet trays to assure correct diet is served to resident, working with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident. Prepare food for all diets accordance with standardized recipes and special diet order, assist in production of food service line, process diet changes and new diets, prepare and serve meals, prepare food for all diets

Other duties include practicing safe food handling, keeping a clean kitchen and dining room
