Job summary

Rock Creek Care Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations. The role includes setting up meal trays, assisting with meal service, and keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary. You will learn routines quickly and work under the guidance of the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read recipes, and a food handlers’ certificate. You must be able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor water temperatures.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory and food prep as needed.
