Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide at Greenville Care Center in Greenville, OH. The role supports meal preparation, tray assembly, and delivery to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities include handling meals for residents, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting cooks when needed, and responding to nursing staff requests in a timely manner. This is a patient-facing, team-oriented kitchen support position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and teamwork concept.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and delivering meals to residents according to diets and policies.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures for meal preparation and service.
• Deliver meal trays to nursing floors and collect dishes at end of shift.
• Break down trays, wash dishes, and restock the dishwashing area as needed.
• Handle phone requests from nursing staff and residents and fulfill them promptly.
