The Redwoods Post-Acute in San Jose, CA is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Department on a full-time AM shift. You will support meal preparation, service, and nourishment for residents while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes timely, appetizing meals aligned with dietary needs; you will collaborate with dietary and nursing staff, maintain a clean dining area, and participate in events and daily resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and deliver meals according to planned menus and dietary procedures.
• Ensure meals meet dietary needs and safety standards.
• Assist with setting tables and maintaining dining areas.
• Transport trays and clean dishes; perform dishwashing and sanitation.
• Collaborate with Dietary and nursing staff to provide courteous service.
