Job summary

Peninsula Post Acute in Burlingame, CA is hiring a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and service for residents. This full-time and part-time role offers reliable shifts and competitive pay of $20.00-$21.00 per hour.

You will check meal trays, follow recipes, help with meal service, and keep kitchen areas clean and safe. We value teamwork, dependability, and a caring approach to support residents' nutrition and comfort.

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals and snacks according to menus and standardized recipes.
• Check meal trays for menu accuracy, diet orders, preferences, and nutritional requirements.
• Prepare food according to established recipes and proper consistency requirements for mechanical soft and pureed diets.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining areas following meal service.
• Ensure dishes, equipment, and supplies are properly cleaned, stored, and organized.
• Follow all dietary safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Support the dietary team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

• AM: 5:30 AM-2:00 PM
• PM: 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
