Job summary

Symphony of Linden is seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to support daily meal operations in our skilled nursing community. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment, contributing to a comforting resident experience.

This part-time role requires weekend availability, physical stamina to lift up to 25 lbs, and a Food Handlers certificate. We offer competitive pay, daily pay, and benefits including health and disability coverage.

Qualifications

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to support the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. In this role, the Dietary Aide will help ensure residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Essential Functions

• Dietary Aides serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.

Qualifications/Experience

• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
• Dietary Aide must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Hold your Food Handlers certificate
