Job summary

Symphony Applewood in Michigan is seeking Dietary Aides who love what they do and will not compromise when it comes to providing the highest quality of care and kindness to our guests.

Essential duties include serving meals that look appetizing, assisting in meal service on schedule, and following portion-control procedures. You will also set up meal trays and dining areas, support daily cleaning, and help with meal service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Hold your Food Handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures

Qualifications/Experience

• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Hold your Food Handlers certificate
