Job summary

Caretel Inns Brighton is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to help provide outstanding service in a skilled nursing and assisted living setting. You will assist with meal service, portion control, and dining room setup while maintaining a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

The role requires weekend availability and physical stamina, with a Food Handlers certificate preferred. The facility offers daily pay options and comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Hold a Food Handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Hold your Food Handlers certificate
