Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for all residents and guests. The Dietary Aide will take food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.

May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation. Opportunities for full-time or part-time hours, with a requirement to work weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests.
• Take food and drink orders, seat and assist residents as needed, deliver meals, and clear dinnerware promptly.
• May assist with general cleaning, dishes, and basic food preparation.
