Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide in Decatur, Illinois. The role includes creating exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests, taking orders, and assisting as necessary. Candidates should be sanitation certified or willing to obtain certification within 30 days and preferably have restaurant service experience. A solid work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to respond to residents' needs with urgency are essential. Opportunities for part-time or PRN hours and various shifts are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests.
• Take food and drink orders and assist residents as needed.
• Deliver meals and manage table cleanup in a timely manner.

Skills

Sanitation Certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.

Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.

Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and good team player.

Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Dietary Aide

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for all residents and guests. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we’re looking for
