Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Texas is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. The Dietary Aide takes orders, seats and assists residents, delivers meals, and promptly removes dinnerware.

Sanitation certification or ability to obtain within 30 days is required; restaurant serving experience is preferred. You must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, be a good team player, and be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.
• May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we're looking for:
