Providence Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Tyler, TX is hiring a Nutrition Services - Dietary Aide. You will assist the food service team to ensure a positive and healthy dining experience for residents, prepare meals and maintain sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications

• Food handler's card required.
• Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
• Fundamental understanding of sanitations, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Able to communicate tactfully with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure proper food handling and storage, including testing and recording temperatures of hot and cold foods; address negative results with Nutrition Services Manager.
• Prepare food using standardized recipes and diets; follow production worksheets and special diet requirements.
• Serve meals with correct portion control and presentation; ensure meals are available within serving times.
• Perform daily and scheduled kitchen cleaning and sanitation; keep work area clean and sanitized.
• Complete kitchen close duties (PM shift) as directed.
• Assist other department staff to ensure timely production, service, and clean-up.
• Store, chill, and reheat leftovers for later use; maintain food storage areas.
• Set up serving lines and dining rooms; maintain condiments and centerpieces.
