Job summary

Providence Park Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Tyler, TX is seeking a Nutrition Services - Dietary Aide to join our team. You will assist the food service staff in creating a positive dining experience for residents and ensure meals, snacks, and hospitality items are prepared and served on time.

You will work with other department staff to ensure service and cleanup of meals, snacks, and hospitality areas.

Qualifications

• Food handlers’ card required.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of sanitations, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Able to communicate with residents, family members, visitors and staff.
• Regular, predictable and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe food handling and temperature recording.
• Prepare meals using standardized recipes and approved portions.
• Serve meals with correct portion control and plating guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and equipment daily and after tasks.
• Maintain dining areas and properly store leftovers and food storage areas.
• Complete kitchen close duties as assigned.
